“The Day Of Honor” – This event honored 200 minority servicemen and women who served in World War II and was coined as the largest event ever in the city of Buffalo where men of color were being Honored. The Erie County Chapter of The Links, Inc,. in collaboration with the Buffalo Public School System presented those individuals who had not completed their high school education with their high school diploma from the school they would have attended.
